Evaluation of flowability for granulated powder using a test of powder discharge by pressurized air

چکیده

This study experimentally and theoretically examined the flowability cohesiveness for powder using a test of discharge through an orifice by pressurized air. The used consisted two kinds Calcium hydroxide which have different particle sizes granulation. These are 11µm 176µm, those called Ca(OH) 2 -A -B. Cohesiveness is characterized Bond number ratio separation force to gravity force. Flowability evaluated relationship between mass flow rate average air pressure acting on bed. We found that -B was much lower than -A. relation indicates easily flowing at region, scattered higher region. means has good granulation in comparison with
